R&D Activities
for
future Technologies
The Shindengen R&D
Center, established at the Hanno complex in 1988, has been leading company-wide
efforts to further develop the company's proprietary technologies. Various
activities are veing conducted aggressively, but in a liberal and conducive
atmosphere. Four guidelines define our actions: .perceive market needs
in advances; .Test market innovative concepts; .Enhance core technologies;
.Explore future technologies. Research results are presented externally
to academic socities and published internally in shindengen's technical
journal, "Password." These papers cover a broud range of work including
the development of: .Power conversion products for electric vehicles;
.High-efficiency power supply circuit topologies; .High-performance IC
technologies; .Advanced CAE/CAD techninques; .Semiconductor process; .Silicon
and other semiconductor materials; .Semiconductor sensors. The technical
achievements of our development group have been acknowledged by peers
and customers throuhout the world.

Shindengen's Global
Network
The Shindengen group
is made out of 10 business units together with 24 domestic and overseas
affiliates. As a result, the manufacturing of major products, such as
semiconductors and power supply equipment, can be handled domestically
as well as overseas. With a well-established information network, both
technology and know-how are easily shared. This very common sharing of
human resources within the group leads to the vitality of corporate activities.
